It was easier to search the island in his Pokémon form, as opposed to when he was a human. Particularly because he could hover from place to place and cover much more ground than he could if he were just walking.

But unfortunately for Dialga, the one he was searching for was quite elusive indeed. Arceus never had any problems with just popping up at the most inopportune times, but when somebody actually wanted to find him, he was nearly inaccessible.

He's probably off sleeping somewhere, Dialga thought as he continued his search, making sure to check every nook and cranny he could fit his 18-foot frame into. Needless to say, it wasn't easy.

Not to mention, he had another headache. That was nothing new, nor was the fact that it was worse than the last one. That was how it always was. He figured that Arceus may be able to tell him what was causing them, though that wasn't his main reason for wanting to find the King-God: he wanted to know what had happened to Palkia. What had happened to her to make her so afraid of the idea of Team Galactic being on the island? Back in his own universe, they'd tried to capture him and failed, and while he'd been rather sore about it afterward - he hadn't let himself get over it until he arrived on the island - there was no residual fear left in his mind like there was in his counterpart's. And if she wouldn't tell him, then he'd find out some other way. Namely by consulting Arceus about it.

Because he wanted to relieve her of her fear as much as he wanted to be rid of these headaches, if not more.

And so, he continued to search the island - despite that his vision was beginning to blur and his head was painfully throbbing, his own heartbeat echoing in his ears.

It had been a long day for Dialga.

The moment he had awakened, it had seemed like everything was twice as bright as it normally was, and every sound had been amplifed tenfold. This, coupled with the headache he now had, meant that he was not in a good mood at all.

He'd been getting headaches all week, actually. They'd started off mild - just painful enough to annoy him - but the one he currently had was the worst one thus far. Now he knew how Psyducks felt; it felt like he'd used Head Smash on all of the trees in the forest.

Which was why the moment he'd arrived back at the house he shared with Paru, he wrenched his headpiece off, tossing it to the floor. Already he could feel the pressure letting up, but unfortunately, it didn't really help that much. Dialga stalked upstairs to their bedroom and flopped down face-first on the bed, without even bothering to turn on the light.

It was going to be a long night.

PERSONALITY
Dialga, to be blunt, is an ass. He takes great pleasure in provoking people into fury, and taunting and pranking everyone are some of his favorite pastimes. He's also got quite the superiority complex - he truly believes that he is above almost everyone else (the sole exception being Arceus), and is prone to shamelessly flaunting this "fact" whenever possible. He is narcissistic, egotistical, and just generally kind of annoying. However, as far as deities go, he's not very bright; it's fairly easy to one-up him or argue him into corners. He is also prone to incredible bouts of rage - he may be able to dish it like nobody's business, but he certainly can't take it. It's not hard to anger him, and generally if he gets angry he just tends to yell a lot and make threats, but if he's pushed far enough then he won't hesistate to fire off a Roar of Time or something.

His personal motto is "when in doubt, blame someone else", something that stems from his belief that he can do no wrong.

As of recently, he hasn't changed very much in personality - he's still as arrogant as ever, but he doesn't actively go out of his way to irritate others as much anymore, something that stems from a "niceness lesson" given to him by Palkia. While he doesn't generally dwell on things that happened to him in the past (though he is prone to holding grudges), he's got quite the sore spot from when the flow of Time was disrupted and it eventually drove him into an insane, enraged state.

The biggest change he's gone through, though, is the development of his relationship with the female Palkia (Paru). Initially starting off as bitter enemies, they rapidly became each other's objects of mutual lust, and eventually, mutual affection. The whole basis for his destructive rampage was "protecting" her from a future he'd thought he'd seen, and even now, part of him still wants to protect her from what she fears.

Paru, Zaid, sour poffins, making mischief, admiring himself, bondage, his human form, blaming others for his mistakes, not going crazy, being awesome, looking up Paru's dress, pranking others, provoking others, teasing others, stirring up trouble, fellow steel-types, being loud, being obnoxious, being egotistical.

Going crazy, being set on fire, mostly every other deity, not being a jerk, losing his armor, being called "gay", Ho-Oh's rainbows, having his plans foiled, losing arguments, losing fights, the idea that he might not be as awesome as he thinks he is, anyone who thinks they're better than him.
